Maggie Letvin (they/he) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Baltimore, MD whose work primarily consists of fiber, photography, and papermaking. They explore themes of filth, labor, trans and queer identities, politics and policy, and the reveal/concealment of images. Maggie is interested in pushing queer aesthetics, the intersection of activism and craft, and the discomfort of both the artist and the viewer. They do many things, some are related, and others stand alone. Process is pretty much everything, ideas and duality are the rest.

Maggie Letvin is a current MFA candidate at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in the Mount Royal School of Interdisciplinary Art. They earned three BA degrees from the University of Maryland in studio art, art history, and immersive media design in 2024. Maggie was the recipient of the first place prize of the Sadat Arts for Justice and Peace Competition in 2024, and was selected to participate in the 2024 "Best of Baltimore" Exhibition curated by Kirk Shannon-Butts.
